Assoc. Prof. Ahmet Aykas, MD is an experienced General Surgeon with expertise in breast surgery, endocrine surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery, colorectal surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and organ transplantation.

After graduating from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1989, he completed his General Surgery residency at İzmir Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital. He subsequently spent more than 20 years in the hospital's General Surgery and Organ Transplantation Departments, contributing to the development of advanced surgical services and participating in a surgical team involved in the hospital's first kidney transplantation.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Aykas has contributed to national and international scientific meetings through research and presentations. He was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor in 2019.

Since 2020, Prof. Aykas has worked in private practice alongside Prof. Yıldırım. Their longstanding professional collaboration allows them to combine their surgical experience in the management of complex cases, providing patients with coordinated surgical care when appropriate.
